House Cleaning Records (HCR) was founded in February, 2021 by Kyle Douglas and Jenn Sturgill. Kyle has been in the House Music industry since 1999 in various roles, but mainly as a DJ, sound engineer, and producer. Jenn has been a House Head, Burner, and avid entrepreneur for many businesses for over a decade. Together they wanted to create a label that embodies community, comradery, inclusion, and bold exploration. A proper House Music vibe for their local community and beyond.
HCR is based out of Seattle, WA, but has roots both domestically and internationally. We value treating our artists well and with respect, mentoring them on proper business management, and generally being a steward of good etiquette for our clients and their audiences, as well as our own. You can always expect the highest level of professionalism from our team.
Above all else, though, we value our family. You. Our growing community. We very seriously want this to feel familial and open to feedback, and we always ask how we can improve and better integrate with our fans. It’s very important to us to take comments that are both supportive and constructive criticism. We need these assessments to evolve and grow alongside our community - to build something that is truly based on our actions. We want you to be a part of our DNA. Lastly, we want this to be fun! We cannot forget how House Music makes us feel, and that's supposed to be GOOD.
